A Day of Running, Determination and Great Atmosphere
On Sunday, 11 October 2026, I took part in the Sheffield City 10K.
The event brought together runners of different ages, backgrounds and fitness levels, all sharing a common passion for running and personal challenges.
The atmosphere was fantastic, with participants gathering before the race, preparing for the 10-kilometre distance and enjoying the excitement of the occasion.
For me, running is not only about finishing times or positions. It is also about improving endurance, challenging personal limits, maintaining physical fitness and enjoying the experience.
One of the enjoyable parts of the event was meeting other runners, sharing conversations and capturing a few memorable moments together.
Completing the race and receiving the finisher’s medal was another rewarding experience and a great addition to my running journey.
